1. Core Technology Recognition – Entering National Directories
April 2025 – INTERMET’s High-Temperature Flue Gas Metal Membrane Integrated Dust & NOx Removal Technology was selected for the 2024 National Practical Environmental Protection Technology and Demonstration Project directory by CAEPI (China Association of Environmental Protection Industry).
This marks the 28th time an independently developed INTERMET technology has been included in national or provincial advanced technology catalogs (NDRC, MIIT, MOST, MEE, and industry associations).

December 2024 – INTERMET also entered the first batch of the National SME Patent Industrialization Model Enterprise Cultivation Database (jointly by CNIPA, MIIT, PBOC, etc.).
2. New Quality Productivity Case – Yellow Phosphorus Dry Process
January 2025 – INTERMET’s Metal Membrane Dry Filtration for Yellow Phosphorus Furnace Gas was named a Top‑5 New Quality Productivity Demonstration Case in “Advanced Manufacturing” by Global Times, CAST, and Tsinghua University.
This process fundamentally eliminates hazardous “mud phosphorus” by separating dust from phosphorus furnace gas before condensation using a high-temperature metal membrane filter.
Per 10,000 t/y yellow phosphorus line:
Cost reduction + efficiency gain: up to RMB 12.24 million/year
CO₂ reduction: up to 8,500 t/year
Eliminates 1,500 t mud phosphorus and 64,500 t wastewater
This solves a major pollution problem for the phosphorus chemical industry, especially in the Yangtze River basin.
3. Industrial Silicon Eco-Island – Proven in Full-Scale Operation
June 2024 & ongoing – INTERMET’s Industrial Silicon Electric Furnace Environmental Energy Island (YT-ISEES) was first deployed at Hongyuan Energy (Baotou) for a 2×33MVA line.
Phase I (started Dec 2023):
Achieved ultra-low emissions through all real-world upsets: furnace baking, tapping, material collapse, temporary shutdowns
SCR catalyst volume only ~40 m³, ammonia molar ratio 1.015:1
System pressure drop <5 kPa, ID fan power ~900 kW
No tempering air → fan directly controls furnace draft, improving output
Result: Phase II was awarded to INTERMET again in 2024 without re‑tendering.
4. Sichuan Provincial Support & Project Acceptance
December 2024 – INTERMET’s provincial science project “Dust & DeNOx Integrated Collaborative Removal of PM, NOx with Carbon Reduction” passed expert review (Sichuan Science & Technology Department).
The project created a two-stage heat recovery + high-temp dry desulfurization + dust-SCR integration process for industrial silicon. It has achieved national technology achievement registration.
A parallel project on “Dioxin-free MSW incineration flue gas treatment” also passed acceptance in early 2024.
5. International & Domestic Exhibitions – Strong Market Pull
April 2025 – At the Chengdu International Environmental Protection Expo, INTERMET showcased four green processes:

High-purity sponge titanium (no hazardous waste)

November 2024 – At the 19th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (Guangzhou), INTERMET presented:
YT-CRW thermal phosphoric acid green process

Per 15,000 t/y industrial silicon line: resource utilization +8%, power saving ~9 million kWh/y, CO₂ reduction ~20,800 t/y, cost/efficiency gain up to RMB 19 million/y.
6. Patent Strength – Top 500 for 4 Consecutive Years
May 2024 – INTERMET ranked 380th in *2023 China Enterprise Patent Strength Top 500* (13th among Sichuan companies). This is the 4th consecutive year on the list.
The company holds over 1,000 patents, has contributed to 20 national/industry/group standards, and completed nearly 500 engineering projects across 40+ industrial sectors.
7. Government Engagement – Eco-Environmental Supply-Demand Matching
December 2024 – At Sichuan Province’s “Energy Saving & Green Low-Carbon Industry Supply-Demand Matching Event”, INTERMET presented its yellow phosphorus dry process to Vice Governor Li Wenqing and provincial leaders.
July 2024 – As a key “chain master” enterprise in Chengdu’s eco-environmental industry chain, INTERMET participated in the city government’s 12345 Industry Chain Building roundtable, providing direct feedback to Vice Mayor Tian Chengchuan.
